Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media presence across various platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) including creating posts, blogs, and articles.
  • Develop engaging content for various digital marketing initiatives such as websites, emailers, and social media campaigns.
  • Execute and monitor email marketing campaigns using tools like Mailchimp.
  • Assist in performance marketing activities including running and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Plan and organize exhibitions or marketing events – including vendor coordination, artwork finalization, and event logistics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and message alignment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Service Coordinator

Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our Service Back Office team. The role focuses on managing OEM and Dealer business for water purification spares, including responding to inquiries, sending quotations, ensuring spares availability, and coordinating timely dispatches with the Stores team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to OEM/Dealer inquiries regarding water purification spares.
  • Prepare and send accurate quotations in line with customer requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure the availability of spares by coordinating with the Stores team and process and manage customer orders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of spares by closely following up with the Stores.
  • Track and maintain records of inquiries, quotations, stock, and dispatches. Follow up with Courier services for timely delivery of spares to OEMs/ Dealers.
  • Work cross-functionally to address any delays or operational issues.
  • Accurate utilization of CRM and SAP for managing customer interactions, tracking inquiries, and updating records.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in handling OEM/Dealer business, preferably in water purification or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM / SAP, Knowledge of MS Office.
  • MS Office (Excel, Word).

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS / OBJECTIVE:

Procurement of all inventory, material supplies and capital goods which meet stated standards at well negotiated price, delivery and credit terms. Evaluating vendors, ensuring timely deliveries to production floor and maintaining inventory controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Responsible for efficient purchasing of inventory, supplies and capital goods (moulds, dies, gages etc) as per stated standards (Domestic as well as import purchases).
 Sources new / alternate vendors when necessary. Approves vendors on basis of
(i) Past history method
(ii) Third party approval
(iii) Reference from customer / other vendor.
 Responsible for evaluation / revaluation, assessment and selection of vendors based on capabilities of production and distribution, performance and consistent quality assurance. Visits to all vendors for inspection of products and services,
shop floor etc.
 Maintains proper documentation of Vendor assessment forms, quality ratings and other such records. Updates approved vendor list as per defined frequency.
 Receives purchase requisitions, verifies them for accuracy and prepares/processes purchase orders in ERP. Negotiates prices, delivery and credit terms, procures material that confirms with specified requirements and maintains such
purchase records.
 Ensures timely delivery of purchased items to avoid interruptions in the production process. Ensures proper inventory control; evaluates inventory reorder levels to determine economical purchasing of inventory and supplies.
 The Quality assurance department highlights the quality related issues, rejections in materials procured. The purchase department coordinates with vendors for such issues and sorts them out.
 Authorizes invoices against materials procured, instructs accounts department regarding debit notes, part payments, advances to be issued.
 Performs any other duties as may be necessary or assigned by the management from time to time.

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 Bachelors’ degree / diploma from a reputed university (engineering preferred) with 3-5 years of experience in purchasing field is essential.
 Commercial knowledge w.r.t. taxes, freight, octroi, Imports etc.
 Knowledge of dealing in mechanical and/or electronic parts/materials/components is important.
 Knowledge of SAP/ ERP systems and ISO would be an added advantage.
 Good communication (verbal & written), interpersonal & coordination skills are essential.
 Good Leadership skills, attention to detail, ability to upgrade with new technologies are important.
 Good planning, implementation & time-management skills are required

PHYSICAL ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 Good reasoning ability to solve wide range of procurement / component related problems.

  1. Quality Planning & Assurance
    • Develop and maintain Quality Plans for raw materials, bought-out components, and finished products in collaboration with Production, Purchase, and Design teams.
    • Oversee the inspection and verification of incoming raw materials and components, including coordination with third-party laboratories when required.
    • Ensure lab testing of product samples as per defined quality protocols and issue test certificates and product-related documentation to customers.
  2. Vendor Quality Management
    • Define supplier quality requirements in coordination with the Purchase team.
    • Conduct vendor audits, pre-dispatch inspections, and ongoing supplier performance reviews.
