In conversation with Mr. Ankur Parikh –Interview in BioTecNika

In an interview given to the magazine BiotecNika, Ankur Parikh talks about Alfaa UV and its products and technology. Alfaa UV is the leading manufacturer of stainless steel UV water purification systems in India. Alfaa UV’s residential water purifiers Platina and Sparkle were awarded as “Best Domestic UV Water Purifiers” by Water Digest in association with UNESCO.

In the interview he talks about the products Alfaa UV is offering to the biotech and pharma industry. Alfaa UV is manufactures the UV systems for any industries requiring sterile water with very low to nil bacteria. For this purpose Alfaa UV has wide range of products from pre-treatment to the point of use systems. It is also specialized in manufacturing UV systems for biotech/ pharma industry where norms are very stringent.  Alfaa UV’s BioPure UV systems are designed as per ASME BPE norms which are the most stringent norms in the biotech/ pharma industry.  UV systems for every pharmaceutical or biotech company can be customized according to their needs.  Products might be similar but the validations are highly customized. These systems are preferred by the biotech industry where ‘Zero bacteria water’ is needed. Currently Alfaa UV has about 70% of the pharma and the bio pharma industry.
