Job Summary:
The Purchase Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement of raw materials, machinery components, and fabrication items to support the manufacturing process. The role involves effective purchase planning to meet production TAT, vendor development, cost optimization, and compliance with material standards and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Planning:
- Plan and procure raw materials/ jobwork/ subcontractor iteam (SS/MS, flanges, pipes, welding items, etc.) as per production requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to meet manufacturing TAT (Turnaround Time).
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) and manage transactions in the ERP system.
